The paint code for my Chevelle is 57 which is Fathom Green. Dupont code is 5013L but thats is Lucite acrylic lacquer. Can I still get this paint in Calif or anywhere? Or do I have to go to a paint store and find a color thats a close match that is base coat/clear coat 21st century friendly? I prefer Dupont products.
Or maybe Centari if thats still available. I know these are old skool paints but i'm kind'a stuck in the 60's

Go to your paint supplier and have them cross reference the code. They will be able to tell you what you can get in Cali. Ithink the laws are different all over the state. Some people say you can only get waterbourne (which is bull because there are a CRAP load of shops that use HOK which IS NOT water bourne) They will be able to mix in either a single stage or base clear.

The PPG (Ditzler) code for that Fathom Green is 2079.

I just bought some paint from Chad at this store:
Auto Rod Technologies/Chads Paint and Audio

I gave him an old Ditzler code for my '55 Chevy and he was able to get an exact formula for it. Great quality paint (Pro-Spray) for a good price too. I'm in Texas and they shipped to me here no problem. Call Chad and see if they can ship to California.
