Favorite Chevy El Camino and why ?
 

I own my first BB 1966 Elky and love it ! just wanted to hear from others who love El Caminos...

Mine was the 80 model. They looked nice with the Malibu front end.

1970 all the way!

70 is definitely the best though.

Ohhh, yeah!!

72 with SB400. It could pass a couple of gas pumps that the BB could not.

had a '73 with sb400, no traction in the rain but that AC was really cold... few yrs later got a '80 v6 stick, not alot of power but fun... love'd them both..

i would say 73-77, particularly the 76-7 because of the front end. i like the 73-77 because i like that chassis and the styling; Face it, they handle and ride better than the beloved 68-72 series, not to mention the interior, i think, is better.


i also like the 78-87 series due to the smaller size and still excellent styling.


i'm not into the 67-72 too much or anything before that.

Hard for me to pick between the 68/69 and 78-80 when it comes to aesthetics. On an Elky i lean a little towards 78-80.

If we were talking about Malibu's though, 68/69 easily.
