That just reminded me of an old guy saying..

"I'm not as good as I once was,...But I'm as good once as I ever was."

"If I thought I was going to live this long, I would have taken better care of myself."

It is not what is inside us but what we do that defines us.

War has never determined who is right.
It determines who is left.

This one reminds me of an "encounter" that a friend of mine had with a curious kitten: One of our mutual friends had a couple cats/kittens around (his wife is animal lover), and we were all in his apartment at the time (i.e. not paying attention to the cats). Denny was sitting at a table writing something down or some such and the rest of us were working on something else - when all of a sudden Denny lets out a "Whoa!" and propels his chair, himself, and a kitten hanging on [to the chair] for dear life about 6 or 7 feet straight back (hardwood floor). Apparently the kitten thought that jumping up into his lap - claws extended - was the right thing to do at the moment.

But to add a little something to the thread:

"If I don't know how good something is, then how can I miss it when there's none around?" - Me. My "motto" when it comes to smoking or drugs. I've never tried 'em, so I don't feel the need to start, or silence a craving.

Another:
"If the right side of the brain controls the left side of the body, and the left side of the brain controls the right side of the body, then only left-handed people are in their right mind." - Don't know who said that, but I am a south-paw .
