I really do not know why i am thinking that but it just popped into my head... Like i said don't get freaked out because i could, and probably am totally wrong. I might be getting it confused with another engine family...

If that is a none issue i would use the bearings that only had the top groove... 360 degree mains are not needed IMO...

The 427MR used grooved mains as it had a cross-drilled crank. High speed operation only. No great benefit for the street.
