Wow.. the Wagon. The family truckster .The station wagon Had it"s hay day in the middle 50"s to the late 60"s. In the 70"s when I was In High School you did not want be caught dead driving a wagon.Since Studee flipped the coin and picked Wagons I GOT a memory...... Back in the 60"s' Ma, Lincoln Highway. got her first ride, A 1954 Studebaker 2 door wagon. It was a Pea Green in color so she decided to paint it.She used one of those old electric buzzing spay guns. Turned out like 80 grit...The wagon had sliding widows in the back, so my older sister a real pain in the///. And I would open the widows and stick our heads out into the hot southern Cal. air..One day after being abused by sis. I got even, I slammed her head in the widow. It was awesome at the time but I got mine when the monster got out of the window . Long live Nash wagons

Here is my 2nd entry. I don't think they made a station wagon in 39, so here is a one of a kind. I call it 'Haulin' Tots" as you can see on the door. If only soccer moms would drive something like this... heck I would take the kids to soccer! Check out the soccer ball sticker in place of the mooneyes on the front fender.
