Ferrari hood insulation

Need to know if anyone, or Dan, know what the silver material on the front is and what the material on the back is? Also, what would have been the insulation material sandwiched between them?

Don't know what it's made of but do know it's a mess gettin it off.
Sorta of a tar base in the middle.
Spent a full day 1 time removing it on a conversion I did a few years ago.

It's probably a thin coating of aluminum over plastic, we used to use something similar on the rear engined units at Winnebago.
As far as the core, I'm thinking it was a neoprene foam, but I won't swear to that.
We also had some stuff that went under the carpets on the German spec diesel units (they all went to a dealer in Koln, Germany) that was like 1/4" thick linoleum.
