Few questions on cam bolt locking plate plus retainer plate.

Hello guys I have a few questions about a 350 chevy oem roller cam setup. I have the later model chevy 350 1 piece rear main seal roller block and have a oem roller comp cam to put into it. I noticed the bolt pattern is closer together then the older style and was wondering will I be ok without using a cam bolt locking plate? I can't even find one for a oem roller bolt style and I don't think they make one or I would use one for extra insurance. Also if I just use locktite on my cam bolts and torque them down to 20 foot pounds should they stay in good? I have heard different stories on if you don't use them your cam bolts will come out over time and some say they won't.I know a lot of people use the cam bolt locking plates on the older style cams. Also do I use locktite on the little bolts that hold my camshaft retainer plate that keeps the cam from walking forward? Thanks for info.

Listen some guy a hundred years ago had a cam bolt come out so know every one has to have a cam lock plate. Clean the bolts and threads out put some red lock tight on and TQ. to proper number you will be good to go.
