Few questions...TH350

Hi to all...I have rebuilt my TH350 and now I have almost the same problem than before...1-2 upshift...soft...late....(but sure a modulator regulation correct it...)
the 2-3 upshift never comes....then I meassured the pressures and were into the limits(near lower limits but IN). I pulled out the governor and the valve was stucked....I dissasembled it...cleaned it...reassembled and then the 2-3 upshift appears at very high RPM and hig speed (car with rear wheels off ground) .Always the detent cable disconected.

Here I have also a question: the body of the governor ( I say the square part fixed to the round gov. valve body ) has some free play or they have to be firmlyfixed? because theses have some freenes betwen it.......can the governor cause this problem?

Then i drived the car and only 1 time the 2-3 upshift comes(always at high RPM and Speed), stoped in a red light and the 2-3 upshift dissapears...
Well then I lower the pan and to my surprise the filter have some dirt...then i have dissambled the valve body....clean it....and checked the intermediate clearance and it was 0.09-0.1"...or this can be the cause? because the 2 gear have a little feeling of certain slip

The RON Session TH350 says TH350 have 4 check balls but in the pic shows only 3.....donīt have the 2-3 direct clutch check ball(into the corner of valve body at a side of the 2-3 accumulator....)???

The last question (I promise...!) but this is a doubt....When a converter begins to fail....feels certain slipping in all gears?? or could in some gears have more power flow than in others...?
Sorry 1st. for the lenght of message and 2nd for my english ( I need rebuild myself....my brain is slipping...)

Mariano ( from Buenos Aires....Argentina)

As I read your post..... the head of the governor is loose on the round section? This is wrong and will cause shifts problems.

The trans will operate fine IF only 1 check ball is there..... the one check ball near the modulator valve is needed.

Dont worry how old you are... it is the mileage on your body that adds up.
