Angry fiber glass hood

IM lookin for a 4' cowl induction fiber glass hood for a 1963 impala. I have been to a few sites like usbodies.com where the earliest year impala model they have is '65. I am also lookin for a light weight fiberglass trunk lid for the 63 if you guys know any sites, palces or phone numbers it would be a lot of help. Thanks a lot

Roy beat me to the punch. Talk to Tom Snyder. He is great. 905.857.6345. I got my parts for my 65' from them. Trust me I asked around before I bought my fiberglass parts. I have been burned before and have friends that also bit the big one on fiberglass parts. Good luck and keep us posted on how things are going...........t

ya me too. some times i dont think that there are any aftermarket parts out there for the 63' and the remanufactured (spelling?) parts for the 63' cost more than the ones for every other year... I think its a conspiracy... i mean it happend to jfk and now its hapinin with me. Whats the deal?

The only reason I said Aeroglass was I just saw a set of fenders and a hood that was fiberglass on Ebay but they were for a '62 Impala. I also went to their website but it did not list the year you are looking for. The guy stated on Ebay that is where they were from. If anything, give them a call and maybe they can turn you to another company that might handle them. You'll only be out a few cents for the call. Check out some of these places also. Won't hurt to call.

Good luck,
Kevin

Guys: I just went to the VFNfiberglass.com and they have glass hoods for 62's and up. Not much of a problem to add a scoop or cowl induction. They also had complete front ends. I have heard good things about VFN. I personally have not delt with them, but have talked to others who have. As a matter of fact I first heard of them on the board.........t

Well, What happened? Did you find what you wanted? Did you find a different place to shop? What? I am most interested in what happened.
