fiberglass

i have a hole in the floor of my old pick up about 9 inches square and i was thinking of patching with fiberglass. would it hold to the floor and seal at the metal. please advise this is just a old work truck but i need to patch this hole so no passes their leg through it

Fiberglass will hold up for at least awhile. If you want something that will hold up considerably longer...patch it with a piece of metal.

If you aren't worried about how it looks, you could even rivet a patch in.

Fiberglas can be a gooey mess.....Break out the drill and rivit gun.....and sheetmetal it
