Yes and no. It depends on the quality control during the construction process. I have a corvette, and a hot rod with fiberglass fenders. I have never had problems with either and I have owned the corvette for 25 years. A neighbor bought a hood one time for a camaro. When he asked me to help him put it on, the finish was poor, and the hood was so thin you could bend the corners near the windshield almost to 90 degrees. It wasn't long before stars started appearing in the paint.

In short I would examin the parts for finish and strength. If both look good you should be ok. If its real flimsey I would stay away from it. Just my 2 cents worth.

Fiberglass parts are just fine for daily drivers, remember Corvettes have been fiberglass since they started. Just look for some opinion on the company before you buy and you should get what you want and are looking for.
