Fiberglass fascia progress

So I have tackled one of the most challenging parts of the body prep for the 'stang. Stock 67 fiberglass did not fit very well, and these are moulded from stock parts.
The hood actually is not too bad, but the fascia lacks a lot of symmetry. It helps having the car level. A few checks with a level, and steel ruler, showed how bad things were.

On the passenger side, I had to add about 1/4" of glass to the top of the headlight housing and 3/8" to the hood recess. On the drivers side I added about 1/2" to the headlight housing and almost 3/4" to the hood recess.

Funny thing is that the base of the grille opening is perfectly level, and the shape of the grille opening near the radiator is nearly perfect.

So it is taking shape, a few more weeks to go I think, but not the 8 weeks it took me on the trunk, I hope!
