Fiberglass wide body install

I have a few questions about installing a wide body kit.

1. What do you do about the quarter panel where the wheel needs to be? You cant leave it there or the wheel will hit, but you cant just cut it or it flexes like crazy.

2. I'm guessing after its rivited/screwed into place, fiberglass reinforced body filler is used to mold it to the body?

3. What is usually done about the fuel filler neck?

Haven't done one by myself but I have seen a few done. It all depends on several variables such as type of car / type of kit / width etc. On an rx/7 a friend did the fenders were the only really wide parts and the transition to where the doors were abrupt. it was a racing kit that totally replaced the fenders. In the rear the quarters were measured, pre-fitted and then we cut out the sheet metal up to the top of the inside of the wheel well. I have also seen the gaps filled with foam to eliminate the flex. Lots of work to get them looking good no matter what.
