Cool fiero seat covers

Does anyone know where I can buy fiero seat covers? I can find leather ones on websites but not cloth. I'm not looking for a cover to go over top of the old one. But more like a replacement that installs like a factory cover. These seat fit really good in my model A coupe but they are junkyard seats and really need covering! I'd rather not pay the prices to have them professionally done if I can help it, and I'm a do it your-selfer.
Thanks, Ted

Tedly,

Check out the Fiero Store: http://www.fierostore.com/pegasus/index.asp

The problem with that is you're going to be limited to stock colors/fabrics. At $350 per set (above), I would guess you could have them made up by your local upholstery guy for similar costs, depending on your choice of material.

Tedly, I have looked into this quite a bit since I have '84/85 Fiero seats (the ones with speakers in the headrests) in my '31 A coupe. I looked lots of places for seat replacement fabric-not much exists ready made. From what I have read the Fierostore covers are not well made and not worth the money. I checked out local auto upholsterers and got estimates from $250 to $400 per seat with cloth centers and vinyl sides-like the originals.

No doubt you have checked out MrMikes's website for leather replacement covers. Actually his are leather seats with vinyl sides. But the leather looked pretty good to my local shoe repairman (you can order samples). Not much sense to spend $350 on crummy cloth when you can get leather for $400. MrMike's send a video and instructions and extra foam for the padding.

I was pretty leery of these, but I am very likely going to try them. Check out "Pennock's Fiero Forum" and FieroPride.com for lots of discussion on this subject. I found 20+ positive reviews about the leather and none about the Fierostore cloth.

If you have speakers,or want them, MrMike's also has a downloadable instruction file on how to get them. Good luck.

Thanks 5 window for the info. That's what I have too, a 31 coupe. My seats have the speakers in them too, but being junkyard seats, I'll probably replace them. I did see the Mr Mikes covers and another on the web called katzkin.com Let me know how you make out with MrMikes as it seems like you might be ready to do your seats before me. I'm about 6-8 months away from needing my seats done.

I'll keep you posted. I will probably do them in late fall. Right now, I am planning on getting 3.5" speakers from Crutchfield-they've got a wide selection-have an outlet store, too. I've seen speakers form $10-$90+ a pair-I'll probably go for mid-range $30-40/pair- I only want to do this once, and I am on abudget like most of us-but , after all, the greatest sound will be out of the headers.
