Post Filling the Holes

Anyone ever tried to run a partially full block on the street before?

I would think the water temps would rise some but with an properly sized radiater one would still be able to maintian the 170-190 mark. I,m also expecting oil temps to be around 210.

On this build(my first street only motor on a budget of 1000 bucks or lower) I,m aiming for 500 horsepower will need to support the walls with a overbore.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

No problem what so ever. Just make sure the rest of the cooling is done correctly, water pump, radiator, purple ice, I use a GM thermol clutch fan. With a electric fan as standby. Runs 185*
There really isnt that much water below the freeze plugs.
