Finally broke down and bought a new compressor.

Heres what I bought.

http://www.northerntool.com/webapp/w...0674&langId=-1

My old one is a craftsman 3hp 20 gallon tank that put out 9.4cfm at 40lbs. I have had a few times when I needed higher pressure to get the max torque out the air tools. I have the new one bolted down and broke it in. I then let it go up to max pressure and shut if off. I actually havent had a chance to use it yet. But its day is coming. Oh and sears had it on sale for $949 so I couldnt resist.
