that should be easy 12's. My friend did one with a 340 mopar and it took a lot of work to the front suspension to fit. but with a nasty cam and ede rpm heads it went 11's.
btw, those valve covers don't look like they are on vortec heads...

I use an adapter because vortec valve covers are pretty spendy.

It had 331 that had flat tops and was around 11.5 cr til the block froze and cracked. It went 11.7's on 10in slicks but for a grocercy getter and street tires traction will be limited. I plan on putting on spare set of 205/65/15's on the back and seeing if I can break em loose at highway speeds. They say a stock LS1 can break normal tires loose in the top of 4th.

lol, that's odd b/c my friends car had bad traction problems.
He eventually sput it out (I think it was a shoddy job on the front end myself) and stuck it in a Cuda with more nitrous. It went 10's there is a pic in my album of it, and a video riding in it too. the yellow one. Good luck with that spinning, shouldn't be a problem

both motors are making within 10 hp of each other. the 350 should be around 375 the 331 was 385ish, but the new motor is making WAY more torque.
