Finally got the car outside , found a few more little imperfections... glazed , hopfully next saturday sand those down give the car a quick run over with 400 get it all taped up and clean off then sunday lay two wet coats of epoxi Mike ... if need be can I prime , seal , paint , all in one weeks time??

Looks great!! Don't rush it. The paint job will only be as good as the body work. Just my two cents. Wicked looking car!!

Take the extra time to prime in block, prime and block, ..You will be much happier when it's done..And when it look's close,prime in block again.. Then your ready !!!!

well acutally the car minus the roof is under black epoxy.... I sprayed a guide coat of flat white paint all over it and block sanded it... then did my body work then along the roof where I welded it I actually sprayed a real black guide coat over the body filler and block sanded that too.. so the body work minus the little areas I did today should be good to go! the roof and body work has been almost 7 months... I am sprying spi epoxy grey my queston was can I spray the two coats of epoxy then the sealer (reduced epoxy) then paint all with in one week?? and I appriciate all the complements this is my first hot rod my first roof replacement my first body work , and my first attempt at paint.. all with the help of everyone and especially deadbodyman

Shoot Simon,All I did was show you the right pile ,you did all the shoveling.To answer your question...Mabee,.....You getting good are you? Its all up to the epoxy it absolutly has to cure ...givin the heat,It is possible but unlikly you'll be able to do a good job in the givin amount of time.this is why I tried to BS you into priming it before you left for N.C. it would have been cured by now.you've done such a great job so far dont rush it."there's never enough time to do it right the first time but theres always time to do it twice" my old saying.DONT RUSH !!! I'll fly up and help if I have to, but theres still time to get it done before the wedding you do want it right dont you? there'll be lots of pics taken of you guys leaving for your honeymoon in it ,so Get it right but plug away every day even if its an hour,but every day,those hours are like money in the bank they add up quick....one hour a day for a week is a full days work...Dont make me come up there ,I'm very charming with the ladies ...."OUCH"....my wife just hit me in the mellon with a book...would some one please answer the phone ,that ringing is hurting my head.get off the computor and get to work.

LoL well I hope to get it primed this sunday... then I am going to take the first or second week of in September to shoot the sealer and paint... so I feel there is plenty of time ... All I have to do is sand those few spots I saw this weekend and feather a couple of edges I noticed on my bondo... so I want to do that this saturday, clean her up and tape her up... so sunday it will be about 84 and sunny so I figure prime her.. let her dry for a few hours then bring her out in the sun for a few more hours.... then all that is left is wet sand seal and paint..... I can't wait to see her under paint!!!!!

same here simon ...same here tell ya what when I take the 48 to NY I'll stop by and we'll cruze with the girls,bout spring time. I'll bring the six deuce set up and see if we can get it to work,carbs scare me
