Finally got the blown 55 together. Looksee here

Hey guys. Been a while but thought I`s stop in and fill you in my 55 Chevy being finished. It's a post car that I restored over the past 18 months and transplanted a blown 565 into. I got it out to a couple ISCA car shows and it's also competing in a contest with a trip to SEMA for the car in 2012 so check out the car and feel free to support it you like it. I`ll post some pictures here and also a link to my website where there's some great shakedown video's and lot's of pictures of the build. Hope you like the way it finished up...cause it took a piece of my soul to get it done!

http://www.fiftyfivechev.com (website for the car Double Nickel)

Let me know what you guys think, and be sure to check out the videos on page 3 of my site.

Graeme

I did put in three World of Wheels shows as I was finishing up the last few details on it picked up 13 awards including numerous trophy's for outstanding paint, custom engine, detail, street machine and best in class. It turned out nice but is always changing too. In fact, I'm about to pull the motor back out and add a 6 speed behind it.

Absolutely beautiful job, my very first car was a '55 Post, and I just love them-you have done some outstanding work on that Car-wasn't it recently featured in a Magazine? It is certainly SEMA or Magazine quality/worthy-

Thanks guys. No magazine features, but one cover shot on a local paper mag that goes out to drag racers around here. Hope to catch the attention of a rag or two when I take it to Goodguys or perhaps SEMA should I win this contest I'm currently in with Meguiar's. Here's to hoping anyways.

Thanks again for the comments on the car.

I don't know what it is with these Canadians', they always build the best cars. The Goodguys show in Puyallup always has a Canadian Corral and it's where the truly meticulous cars are. They must have a lot of time on their hand, eh!

Beautiful double nickle, my first car, too!

That shop that you are parked beside sure does look familiar ...
is that in Didsbury?

"Rides by Ronnie" or something like that?

English fellow there does some remarkable work, alright ...
