I agree, the Challenger is nice to look at but they are pigs. 4160 pounds is too heavy.

I'm hearing from a really good source that the 2010 Mustang GT will have a DOHC 5.0, making around 380 hp, and weighing around 3500 pounds. I might have to trade my Cobra in for one.

Aww man, you had to go and start throwing the 'F' word around...

We have a dealer in town with a Challenger on the lot. Very cool. I have a soft spot for a nice MOPAR. (Is it mopar anymore?) Anywho, it's here and it looks a little GIRTHY. A little FAT. Kinda bloated if you will. But I bet she has a heart of gold.

Hey, fat girls need lovin' too.

If you don't like Camaros now, you're REALLY gonna hate 'em in a couple months.

Jay Leno gets a Challenger.
He goes to pick up his new Challenger driving his 1970 Challenger,
then he does a new Challenger "road test".

Nice car but lacking the charisma of the '70 plus it still looks too bulky but better visually then the silver version that is at the local Dodge store.

I saw this on "Speed" the other night, Kyle Petty also test drove one. It was an interesting show, of course everyone loved the car...and it would light the back tires up very easily. I like them, give me 10 years and I might want to buy a used one.

The Challenger is a sweet car, being a SRT8 it should have the Viper 6 speed.

The Challenger is HUGE.!
It was taller..wider..but had 20" wheels so maybe that was part of it.
Looked nice but..BIG..
Yep, it's big, and the Maro is ugly.

LOL at test driving the new camaro.

Lets see some GOOD pics of that car. Would be nice to see one thats owned and not a concept picture/car.

I totaly agree, it looks to much like a cadiallac, and challenger did a excellent job with the car and price.

But the new camaro is growing on me.

I think it could be made to look really good.

something along the lines like this:

and then this is getting ugly

If you are really interested in the Camaro, you should check out www.camaro5.com . They have a decent BB and lot of pics of the production version as well as some inside sources for options and appearance packages.

GM had a 'sweepstakes' for 3 production Camaros done up identically to the "Bumblebee" car in the Transformers movie. So far 2 of the 3 guys that actually won the things are members of that forum. They were pretty much jawdropped when they come to the realization that they'd WON.

That would be a surprise for sure.

The PRODUCTION Camaro and the Camaro concept have quite a few differences. If people are expecting they will look identical I think they will be disappointed.

The Mustang will have the weight advantage over both the Camaro and the Challenger, I think the Challenger is LIGHTER when comparing V6 models (Camaro/Challenger) and a little heavier when comparing the top of the line V8 if you look at the projected weights of both cars....
The Camaro and the Challenger will be bigger than the Mustang, but you can also bet the Camaro and Challenger will have more comfort and refinement too....

The past 10 days I have seen 2 Challengers in traffic. Both had regular AZ license plates on them , so I guess they are owned by regular folks that purchased them.

The car does look good in person to me... The exhaust sound from the car I was behind was a bit rumbly , not loud , not quiet .
