That's not what happened to me. I ran about half a cup of lacquer thinner through the gun before I ever used it. It worked fine for about the first 5 uses and after use cleanings (spraying solvent trough and cleaning the cup), THEN THE STUFF INSIDE TURNED TO GOO AND MIXED IN WITH THE PAINT.
