Finding 72 El Camino Disc Brakes
Hello,
I have a 72 El camino with 4 wheel drum brakes. Its starting to get pretty quick and i'm having problems hauling it down. What could I get some front discs brakes off of to help me? Could I use any older GM with disc brakes on the front and put them on my El Camino? |

re: Finding 72 El Camino Disc Brakes
Best bet would be '69-'72 Chevelle, Cutlass, Tempest, Skylark, Monte Carlo, Grand Prix, & El Camino. Get spindles, caliper brackets, calipers, rotors, hose-to-control-arm clamps, master cylinder, proportioning valve, hard lines, & any nuts, bolts, washers ,etc., that are involved. Use new hoses. Spindles, caliper brackets, & rotors from '69 Camaros & Firebirds & '69-'74 Nova (& clones) will fit also.
