I'm just getting back into the hot rod scene and picked up a '48 Ford Pickup. No engine but set up for a 302. Needs a lot of work but is basically stock. I am not familiar with this area concerning hot rods, Sacramento, Jackson, Placerville area. I would like to put a flathead back in this truck. Are there area's around here where a guy can buy flatheads and related parts?

Speedway Motors has a real good selection of Flat Head hop up and dress up goodies. Plus a lot of body/running gear stuff. Good company to deal with.
