re: finding parts

You have the wrong codes. Those are off the rear drivers side. look at the front pass side just in front of the head. there will be a pad level with the block to head mating surface. if no one has decked the block you will find at least 1 set of numbers there is 2 on a lot of engines ( if not a crate engine.) but not always. then sites like yearone.com and others i cant remember right now can tell you the blocks year, the plant that made it etc and if it has the second #'s the vehicle it was in. theres a site like mortech or something that has a realy big list of engine numbers.

Found a good one for 350's http://www.chevy-camaro.com/chevy-c...es.asp?group=12
the rest of them http://www.chevy-camaro.com/chevy-c...ngine-codes.htm

if nothing else look up the head numbers and find the year for them, or you could just tell them its the made in mexico crate motor and let them do the work.

re: finding parts

A 350 with the dipstick on the passenger side and a two piece rear seal would have been made between '79 and '85. You can use any of those years for parts.

re: finding parts

well honestly im not too smart and it doesn't have a dipstick so yea i have to go find it if anyone happens to know if it is on the passenger side its a zz4 crate motor it says its for pre 76 vehicles so i figured it would be older but thanks
