I do wear safety glasses, and after this story maybe goggles too, but don't think an eye can't get something anytime. I was driving to work during harvest-time last fall here in nebraska and had my windows open. I caught a cross-breeze and something got into my eye. I used visine, water, every trick I could think of while at work and nothing worked. After 12 hours on-shift, my eye was scratched to hell and the Optometrist got it out. Was a 'burr'-type of thing stuck to my eyelid and every time I blinked it put another scratch in my eye. Damn it hurt!! Worth every penny of the $95 to remove it!!
