Finding pinholes, imperfections.
Seems that even if you guide coat a car or part, you can miss some small nicks and pinholes when looking it over before paint. If it is something you want to be really picky on looking it over, try using a hand held fluorescent trouble light to look it over moving a panel at a time, and circle any spots with a pencil. If you hold the fluorescent right next to the panel just below where you are looking, it shows minor stuff if you missed it.
And on another note, if you are doing fiberglass repairs cover up head to toe. I had to do some fiberglass work today at work, and don't have coveralls yet. I was wearing a shortsleave tshirt and started grinding away without thinking. I was itching for hours and couldn't wait to get home to clean up and change.
