Finding TDC on SBC

I had to change my balancer on my 350, the balancer i'm using is for a 12 O'clock Timing tab so i can't use the line on the balancer since my timing tab is at 2 O'clock, what's the best way to find TDC, do i look at the Valves? i don't want to use a piston stop since i'm worried i can bend a valve

Why not replace it with the correct balancer? As once you find TDC how are you going to set the timing?

Follow these instructions, you won't bend any valves.
