Fineline Tape question?

I painted the top and sunvisior for my 51' GMC this week end and I'am going to mask it out at the belt moulding up so I can start the second color next week and my question is, I'am using the 3m fineline at the edge and was worried about the time it might have to sit there on fresh urethane until I can get back to it.

re: Fineline Tape question?

That time span should be no problem as long as the vehicle has been indoors.

re: Fineline Tape question?

I had some 3m fineline on paint after it had been sprayed and baked for a day. I left the tape on for the weekend, and it was fine. No residue or anything.
