Finish Sanding
 

I am going to paint my car with Nason Ful-Thane. I will not be using any clear on it. After painting should I lightly sand and use a polising compound ? If so how long should I let paint set before touching. Also should I wax after the compound? Thank You

If you are using catalyst (which you should), by all means you can color sand and polish. Wait a couple of weeks. Don't wax it for a long time. I wait most of a year so ALL of the solvents are expelled. Wax will trap the solvents and dull the paint. Urethanes are so tough nowadays that a year without wax is no big deal.
