firebird headers

I want to get some headers for my 78 firebird. It has a chevy 350 in it but all the headers i can find for it are for pontiac engines. I was thinking that i could buy headers for a 78 camaro because they are pretty much the same car. So before i buy them i wanted to ask you guys if you think it'll work or not. Thanks

Camaro and Firebird share the same front subframe. Headers for the Camaro with fit right on your Firebird, they are essentially the same car under the skin.

you will have no problems getting camero headers to fit, they are the same chassis just different body.

sure "camaro" headers will work, same part number for any small block F-body. You can certainly find headers for your car pretty easily on summitracing and just select for firebird. You'll see they are the same part number as those for the camaro. One word of advice is don't go cheap on headers if you're putting any kind of money into this car, you want ones that will last, seal correctly and are bent in a reasonable fashion to allow you to not burn your spark plug boots up!
