Firewall holes

My firewall seems to have a surplus of holes in it now that I have tidied things up. How do you guy's plug up spare holes. They seem to be about 3/16" and 5/16" It's too late in the project to weld them up. I should have thought about that long ago

Everyone here is going to tell you to weld them up. That's the only way to truly plug up a hole. If you think it's too late in the project now to finish it, imagine in 5 years from now when you have these glaring holes in your firewall because they were never properly repaired. You'll be thinking at that time that it wouldn't have been such a bad time after all back when you made this post.

So, why is it too late to weld them up anyways?

I've seen larger plugs at the auto parts shop but the smaller one's will likely be special order.

I'm sorry, I had originally read it as you had rust holes or something but I've gathered now that they're the factory holes for passing wires, etc. In that case, you can buy rubber grommets that are made to plug these types of holes in vehicles. If you can't find them at an auto parts store then you can probably find them online somewhere.
