First drive in the Pontiac!

I know the video is kinda old but I wanted to share it. This is the first 50's era car I have ever owned! The video is kinda long though.

The transmission is fully synchronized even first gear. The gear grind you hear is caused by the linkage having alot of play.

Thanks very much for the ride. Takes me back to my youth, which I miss terribly. Huge x huge steering wheels, Armstrong steering, 3 on the tree, 3 pedals on the floor, room in the trunk to sneak several people into the Drive-In movie, etc.

How many of you youngsters know what the half-moon clear prism attached to the dash above the speedo is for?????????

I know what that prism is for - guess that puts my status as a youngster in jeopardy...
