First time sprayed the clear

I'm painting the jambs on the trunk / doors and sprayed clear first time ( SPI Universal over SPI red) and I got to tell you guys that very pleased with the results. I was kind of in hurry and did not even play to much with the adjustments of the gun. I realized one think when spraying if the gun is not perpendicular and away from the surface looks like very little orange peel but other then that most surfaces came out like glass. I have to play little bit more with the gun adjustment and try to keep the gun even to the surface next time.

I did not have the fan set up yet so sprayed the clear door open. Would that be a problem that i have to worry when I'm shooting the base on the rest of the car? ( I will clean the surface)
Thanks for everyone who helped me here especially Bary K and of course Brian.

I don't see where there would be a problem. I am not sure with barrys paint, but have occasionally had lifting problems when spraying base over fresh clear from overspray from the jambs. You may want to sand the overspray from the jambs off the body or make sure it has cured awhile before spraying base. But barry knows his products so I'd ask him on that.

If I understand the question, there is not a concern for lifting at all after over night.
