First time upgrade question

You know the deal, engine ran solid( low miles) but I wanted more Horsepower so I just changed my cam, lifters, rocker arms, intake, carb, fuel pump, and added a msd box. This was my first time doing this.I researched the parts and combos (from the archives here) so they would work together.
Everything seems to be working properly for a week now, mostly going around town and going up a few exits on the highway.

In your experience would something have gone wrong by now?
Can I drive it a few hundred miles and not have to worry.I know there is no chrystal ball, but I respect this board's experience and opinions.

Everything is going well and you post!!!!
Everything that usually can go wrong does....
Many times I have ruined parts or caught stuff on fire...
Good job...Nice to be polite and spend the time reading old posts instead of starting a new thread saying
"New thread you have heard a thousand times so reply to help buy me new parts"

You should have posted..."Hi guys...I just worked on my car and it runs great..what's wrong with it??...hee hee.......
Go ahead and drive it, but since your unsure don't stray far from home and keep all your senses on the motor so you can catch something wrong as soon as you can....
