fitting to fit power sterring resevior

I am having one heck of a time finding a fitting to go into the high pressure side of this power steering resevior. I have a fitting that tightens down on my high pressure hose, but the other end is to small on the fitting for my resevior, so I need either a trasitition piece, or a new piece, but nothing screws into thisw resevior. The only think ive found to fit, doesnt have the correct other end connection, and I cant find a roughly 3/8" female to 1/4 male connection. ive included some photos to help.

You haven't given us anywhere near enough info, but I'll go out on a limb here. The Saginaw pumps like the one in your photo came two ways. The older ones used a standard inverted flare fitting with SAE threads. The newer ones used an o-ring seal with metric threads. Unless you have the pressure hose custom made, you won't find one that has SAE on one end and metric on the other. Speedway motors sells an adapter fitting that screws into the metric pump and accepts an inverted flare fitting.

Now that I look at your photo again, it appears that this pump has the press-on pulley. If so, then it is almost certainly the pump with the metric o-ring fitting.
