|
fitting hood and grill on 34 ford
Having trouble fitting hood and grill. Nothing will square up. disassembled for radiator repair.

post a pic. Last time I saw one of those we had the same problem. I wasn't the guy doing the assembly but glanced over at it once in a while. I think the hood has four or six studs on the bottom? Would washers help as a sort of shim?

What it comes down to is the alignment of the rad using the support rods. The rods have two nuts on them at the rad end. You screw them in and out to move the radiator back and forward and left and right.
