fitting question

Hey guys looking for some help here. I am in search of a brass fitting that I need to complete my tranny cooling lines. It needs to be 3/8" compression threads to a 3/8" barb. I can't seem to find this fitting at the parts store. Any suggestions or links to where I can find this fitting??

Thanks,
Keith

Sounds funny, but Home Depot and Lowes has darn near every combination of NPT, barb, compression, flare, inverted flare, and o-ring fitting you can imagine.

I think you nee a 3/8 comp. to 3/8 npt (adapter) - then go to the npt barb. (if I understand the issue). Best place to find is Ace Hardware.

Trans Line Fittings

Trans Line Fittings. All Trans Cooler Co's make these also. Sometimes found in the HELP section in Auto parts stores.

You might find what you need at McMaster-Carr. They've got a website, and although primarily an industrial supply house, they will sell to individuals. Their shipping is super fast, quality is excellent, and it's like the biggest on-line hardware store you've ever seen.
