Five inch sanding disks with 1/2" hole

Bought a Makita 5 inch sander (model GV5010) to grind the welds as I weld in replace metn Very light weight at 2.6 lbs. Can't seem to locate sanding disks. Looking for 24 or 36 grit disks. The sample disk has a 5" outer diameter and 1/2" inner diameter.
1) Can anyone tell me a store in the Denver area that carries this type of disk.
2) I see Aluminum Oxide, Ceramic, and Zirconia fiber disks are common. Can anyone tell me the best type of disc for grinding mild steel welds on my sheetmetal welds?
Thanks

I use a lot of 5" 3M "Green Corps" Discs for grinding welds, and they have done a great job for me (your mileage may vary)-

At any rate, I would go down to Tool King on 6th & Simms (just east, on the north frontage road)-they have them, although I did buy them once at a place in Arvada (closer to you), on Ralston Road (but I can't seem to find them in the Yellow pages)-

Anyway, any good local Paint Store should have them-hope this helps-

Check on these guys:

industrial supplies near Westminster, CO - Bing Local

Also McMaster Carr as they have fast shipping and decent prices. buy the boxes of 50 or 100 as that is the better deal..
