Five Way harness for Jeep Wrangler
Does anyone know who to hook up a five way racing
harness in a 1995 jeep wrangler. I just purchased mastercraft seats, they have the openings for the harness, and I have the rear bar mounted on the rear portion of the roll bar.(Next to the rear window). What do I bolt the harness to, how does it connect to the rear bar?, are any restraints better than others, how come these are not street legal?. They would seem to work better that the factory belts. Thanks for any help out there

Usually, there are tabs welded to the roll bar for this. But, they have to be in the right place......It all depends on your height etc,...best to get a pro to show you where.

Hate to send you to another forum, but I got a lot of Jeep help at 4wd.com, they are a supplier that hosts a very friendly forum.
Best tip I have is that you have to be careful about the angle the shoulder belts come in at. My belts came with a good diagram. |
