try!

there are a few ways to fix a large hole, one cover it with a very nice hood scoop,or weld in a piece from another hood, just put a 16 or 18 gage metal piece in there or you can bond a patch in place of the piece missing.all i have done but the best way is look on crages list or ebay and try to buy a old hood even go to the junk yards and see whats out there.you might suprize youself, the bonding part works and you can mig weld,plug-weld(drilling a hole in the metal and fill it with weld),or look at all the diffrent scoops low-profile on jcwhitney.com,. bourne51-best of luck!

Sure it can be done, big flat panels are hard to weld, especially in the middle. If you have access to a good metal worker at a reasonable price go for it. If it is a common hood ,a replacement would be the way to go. Jerry

I'd go with the replacement hood. Just scuff and paint, your all done! If I couldn't get a reasonable replacement, I'd go with the small dummy hood scoop.

I think it would be easier to put a tunnel ram with quads back on it.
