Fix or replace?
My 88' bronco II has another body problem besides the roof paint. After removing the plastic cover from inside the tailgate, I discovered a problem that was worse than what it looked on the outside. The fiberglass on the outside was cracked and the spare tire holder is pulling away from the tailgate. It turns out that on the inside, the cracks spread through almost the whole gate. I found a website that carries a steel replacement for a little more than $170. www.auto-bodyparts.com. A friend of mine works at a junkyard and I could snag a used fiberglass one for probably $50. Should I even bother trying to fix the gate with fiberglass or just replace it?

My personal preference would be to replace, but that's just me.
