fix scuff mark on fender, HELP

My cars been painted about 7 yrs ago with clear coat etc the whole 9 yrds. My fender got scuffed with a falling object about 1inch wide and about 4inches long. Just the paint came off, because I can see the grey primer only. My fender is black! How can I fix this the easiest and most simple way? Walk me thru, thanks, Dana

Feather the damaged area out with 320 grit.

Spot prime with a good 2k urethane primer, guide coat.

Block sand the repair area with 600.

Scuff the whole fender with a gray scuff pad (and scuff paste if you want) and water, scuff very well.

blend the base coat, will most likely take 3 coats or so.

clear coat the fender.

color sand and buff.
