I don't know off hand the gauge wire it is but I will look at it tomorrow when I get back to my shop. The curvy wire came with the kit so I will look on the paperwork and see what it is. The wire works really great because you can pull out several inches at a time rather than using a weld stud. Thing about the curve wire is that you don't have to weld it in a straight line, you can weld each curve angle of the wire, turn the wire and weld it again and so on, it worked great on the dent in the curve part of my back fender!

Once the dent is pulled, take vise grips break it off, or you can use a grinder, clean up the surface and behold, you can't even tell it was even there.

UPDATE:

OK I looked it up, it is called magnawire and it is 16 gauge. Here is the link,
