The only way i know how to do it is to have a propain canaster mounted in your car, have it feed into your exhaust pipe right neer the end of the tip, then whenver you want some blue flames just open the valve a little so you release some gas in there it should ignite with how hot the exhaust gets, but dont take my word lol, youll probably blow up and die
. The other way is if you have a built car is to putt a really mean cam in it so that it doesnt close the exhaust valve faster enough and just throws raw fueld threw the engine letting it ignite before it get out of the pipe lol.

I know of the propain way, but I don't think he used it on the show. I wish I had recorded it. He only had to push a little switch he mounted under his dash and he would get some cool looking flames!

flame thrower
The kit he used was from auto loc. I think the web site is www.autoloc.com there was no propain involved in the system.
2 sparkplugs and 2 coils were mounted at the end of the tail pipe and when he hit the switch it cut the ignition from the engine and puts it to the plugs in the tail pipe. so you have a dead engine running raw gas through it through the pipes and the plugs light it on the way out. doesn't seem to be very good on an engine. |

I looked at that site, but I'm not sure exactly how they work. Does it just spark the remaining gas in your regular exhaust? I don't really want a seperate fuel system for mega flames, just short little ones.

is there any way that the flame or spark can lead back into your engine and blow up?
and do you actually have to cut your engine off when you do this, or is it a separate system? |

is there anyone that has put a kit on their car? i was just curious, because no matter where i search for the questions, no one really says for sure if there is a way to NOT cut off your engine when doing this. the reason behind is because i don't want the unburnt fuel killing my cylinders if the engine has to be killed.
what i was thinking is since my car doesn't have catylitc converters, it should have unburnt fuel constantly running out of the pipes nontheless. |

Does anyone remember the Trucks TV when stacey put flame throwers on a truck? I didn't think that he used a kit or anything,
When don't they use a "KIT" on those shows. They never fabricated anything on their own on those shows. All that bunch knows, is how to throw money at a problem to solve it.
