That's an interesting idea - a white 327 with flames all over. I don't think that has ever been done. I saw an orange 327 with orange flames once but you couldn't see the flames.

can you run white oil in it so the leaks won't make such a mess?
Seriously though, oil leaks. that would make me reconsider white as a color choice.

I had real flames on mine.....oh wait, thats why I'm rewiring the truck....

in all seriousness, yeah you can do it, I painted my block and trans the color of the truck, took a little time in prep work and was a pain with all the dips and valleys, but came out beutiful! and with the high gloss it is pretty easy to keep clean....the drawback, if you smoke a water pump, ( I was using a stock H2O pump) of need to change something the chips and scratches show lots better than a simple black, good part is you can see your leaks and take care of them

Hey guys, thanks for your opinions. The red flames and white oil gave me a laugh out loud. It's too much time and work for now but maybe next winter when I'm laid off from work and have a garage, I will try it. Thanks again. RC
