What's the best way to produce flames from the tail pipes.

go to hot rod search: put in hot rod flame throwers 4 paragraph down Hot Rods Etc.may help,also look in any custom mag. there are kits you can buy,caught something on hot rod tv,they putting in a kit,mount your sparkplugs about 6inches in from end of tailpipe,they drilled and tapped for a heli-coil to thread plug into to be sure plug is in center of pipe,mount the coil as close to plug too,beware of gas tank vents!

Thanks, and that hot rod show I cought it just in time to see the flame come out. That's what got me thinking about doing it my self. Wished I had seen the whole show.

check the knowledge base here, i think there are articles about it, or try to find a site called (i think) socheap.com... instructions for a homebuilt system. BE CAREFUL!

How come you have to buy or make the transistor crap? I don't know much about stuff like that. I'd figure you just run a ground to the coil and run a switched positive to the positive side of the coil and it works. Steve
