Flat / Matte Black durable and easy to match?

Iíve been searching here and Iíve found plenty of threads dealing with flat / matte black paint jobs.

Seems each has its own issues. My son and I are building a í65 Chevy truck and the kids really digs the flat black old school hot rod look (as do I). I owned plenty of project cars in primer and I know they donít hold up well, even epoxy primer.

Iím looking for something durable. Iím also looking for something I can spray at different times and not worry about it not matching.
Any recommendations?
Iíll be using a compressor and spray gun as well.

Do not use the black primers. They will eventually turn gray and have streaks in them.

Use a catalyzed paint to make it tougher. Soft paints damage more easily.

I've done both matt and semigloss. For ease of touchups, I would go "full flat". The others can vary in the degree of "gloss", just by spraying in colder conditions... shooting heavier coats... different gun settings... spray technique... etc. Full flat is more predictable.

Be sure to have a spot where you can pull the masking back to see if the match is acceptable.
