I like Flat top cars and I’m curious about the history behind them.
How did the factories advertise them, what did the public think about them?
I guess it never became a success since we don’t see any flat tops in modern time?
All models seem to be made ’59-1960. Short period.
It makes me wonder how did the factories advertised them – why should people buy it with this roof.
What did people say when they were new on the streets - did people hate them since it all ended 1960?
My take on them was that they were ugly as 400 hells and I wouldn't own one.
