thanks for all the good advise guys. i'll give it some thought over the next 2-3 weeks as to if i'll stay with the solid or go roller. ( i want to spin 7000 rpm, as i've got a 4:56 r/p for the strip& rollers are a little heavy,... but the motor has to live this time. no room for errors, high dollar rebuild (big block territory)

Just stick with a hydraulic roller setup and use stiffer springs, or at least a solid roller.
