Can anyone tell me if I'm painting a vehicle, half in fiberglass bumpers in urethane,do you need two seperate guns for the clear. One with flex additive?Or can the flex be in one gun for both the fiberglass and the urethane bumpers.

re: flex in clear

Flex additives for the most part are used to pad a estimate when doing insurance repairs...

Flex additives are designed to allow flexable parts to flex while installing them if they have been painted off the car.

Flex additives cure out completly after 60 days or so.

Flex additives are added to the clear itself so to answer to question one gun one love...

re: flex in clear

My parts are on the car,so a flex additive is probably not needed.Thank you for your time and response.

re: flex in clear

Save your cash and the hassle. Skip the flex. Even painting urethane parts off the car and installing I have yet to have a problem not adding a flex agent. You really got to twist a part pretty good, urethane clear is somewhat flexible as it is
